Vanderlaan, a senior representative–Retail Sales at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 4693 Wilson Ave. SW in Grandville, demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in 2009 by providing customers in and around Grandville with outstanding service related to company products and service plans. VanderLaan earned the award by meeting several criteria, including being ranked in the top 1 percent in 2009 sales, placing him as one of the company’s top performers among its more than 25,000 sales people.
